Founded by a resident of both Nakusp, British Columbia, Canada, and Takaharu-cho, Miyazaki, Japan, we recognize that in Japan, gift giving is more than just an act—it signifies a gesture of respect. My name is Jeff Fraser, and I am the founder and curator of Mr. Maple Pure Canadian Maple Syrup products. I established Mr. Maple to share the true spirit of my Canadian home with my friends and neighbors in Japan. From Nakusp to Takaharu, I promise you that quality is my personal commitment. 

I have a deep appreciation for Japan, its people, and the culture of thoughtful gift giving. Being fortunate enough to have homes in both Takaharu cho, Japan, and Nakusp, British Columbia, Canada, has allowed me to understand the Japanese market's demand for high quality Canadian maple syrup as well as unique gift products that delight the taste buds and create lasting memories.

Growing up in northern Ontario, amidst the mixed forests along the shoreline of Lake Superior, I fondly remember springtime adventures, running through the woods alongside the tractor and wagon to gather buckets of maple sap for our neighbor, Poppy Simpson. This sap would then be boiled over an open flame in a large cast iron cauldron to produce that amazing amber syrup known as maple syrup. The reward for our efforts was worth everything, and it is a product that I believe deserves to be shared with the world. Enjoy!

Every bottle of Mr. Maple begins on a family-owned farm in rural Ontario, where generations of the same family have been dedicated to producing pure Canadian maple syrup. This farm's tradition of making maple syrup products dates back to the late nineteenth century. In those early days, sap was collected using spiles and pails before being slowly boiled into rich amber syrup. The introduction of the first dedicated maple evaporator in 1927 marked the start of nearly a century of continuous refinement. 

Throughout each generation, traditional knowledge has been handed down, while both equipment and food-safety practices have evolved. Today, this pure Canadian maple syrup is produced and bottled in a federally inspected Canadian facility, combining years of experience with modern quality standards. 

Mr. Maple carefully selected this producer not just for its Canadian roots, but also for its exceptional taste, reliable quality, and deep connection to Canada’s maple-making tradition. We are proud to bring this exquisite syrup to Japan, particularly through our unique gift giving experience that showcases the finest maple syrup products available.

The pure Canadian maple syrup and its distinctive maple-leaf bottle begin their journey in Canada. Almost everything that transforms them into the finished Mr. Maple gift-giving experience happens in Japan.

Our gift bags, printed materials, decorative packaging, accessories, and final presentation are sourced, produced, or completed through Japanese businesses. The maple syrup products are then assembled and prepared for sale in Japan.

This means that purchasing Mr. Maple supports more than a Canadian maple-producing family; it also supports Japanese printers, packaging suppliers, manufacturers, logistics providers, retailers, and local partners.

We believe the best international products should create value on both sides of the journey. Canada provides the authentic pure Canadian maple syrup and generations of maple-making knowledge. Our journey begins in the vast forests of Canada, but we hope that its future will be firmly planted in Miyazaki, Japan.

Currently, we curate the finest maple syrup products from a Canadian family producer, boasting generations of maple-making experience. However, we are building towards a future where the final steps of our Mr. Maple product journey occur right here in our prefecture.

Our goal is to establish a dedicated bottling and fulfillment center in the Kobayashi region of Kyushu, Japan. By bringing pure Canadian maple syrup directly to Miyazaki, we can:
